As a parent of a child in the Bellevue School District, as a citizen of Bellevue and as a small business owner in Bellevue, I would like to alert you to concerns with the Bellevue School District. Puesta del Sol, the Spanish language immersion elementary school, is suffering from teacher to student ratios of 30:1 in all fifth grade classrooms this year.
Based on our current property taxes, car tabs and the amount of stuff we buy, Sound Transit 3 will cost us $2,000 a year for many years and I will never use it based on our transportation needs, the location of our house, retirement, etc.
