The MINI brand of vehicles has joined other exclusive brands in naming Bellevue as its newest location.

The British car company plans to open a shopping center and showroom in The Bellevue Collection this spring, providing more than a dozen vehicles to test drive as well as retail products in a showroom.

“This is completely different from a traditional dealership setting,” said Seattle MINI owner Manfred Scharmach. “Think of it as an urban micro showroom with emphasis on retail items.”

This will be the first location of its kind in the country. Two of MINI’s newest models, the Clubman and Convertible will be on display, along with MINI merchandise, driving accessories and gear.

“Other MINI temporary pop-up experiences in the U.K. have been well received. We are expanding on that idea to fit the Eastside lifestyle. At MINI Bellevue Square someone can gather relevant information, buy merchandise and take a test drive,” comments Scharmach.

The storefront will be located on the main floor of Bellevue Square.
