Newport remains undefeated in the pool

The Newport Knights boys swim team registered a 94-89 win against the Issaquah Eagles on Jan. 11. Newport improved its overall record to 5-0 with the win. Issaquah dropped to 4-1. Newport will face the Bothell Cougars at 3 p.m. on Jan. 23.

Wolverines defeat Saints in rivalry showdown

The Bellevue Wolverines defeated the Interlake Saints 91-79 on Jan. 9. Bellevue improved its overall record to 3-1-1 with the victory. Interlake dropped to 1-3.

Wolverines conquer Patriots in KingCo 3A/2A matchup

The Bellevue Wolverines won their eighth consecutive game courtesy of a 73-69 win against the Liberty Patriots on Jan. 12. Bellevue (12-2) will face the first place Redmond Mustangs at 6 p.m. on Jan. 19 in Redmond.

Juanita cruises to victory against Interlake

The Juanita Rebels defeated the Interlake Saints 53-30 on Jan. 12. Interlake (7-7) will host Mercer Island at 7 p.m. on Jan. 19 at Interlake High School in Bellevue.

Knights win nail-biter against Eagles

The Newport Knights defeated the Issaquah Eagles 45-44 in a KingCo 4A matchup on Jan. 13. It was the Knights’ third consecutive victory. Newport (7-2) will host North Creek at 7 p.m. on Jan. 19 in Factoria.

Vikings defeat Cougars in private school matchup

The Bellevue Christian Vikings captured a 48-34 win against the Cascade Christina Cougars on Jan. 12. Bellevue Christian (8-5) will play Vashon Island at 7 p.m. on Jan. 19.

The Bellevue Wolverines earned a 67-56 win against the Liberty Patriots on Jan. 12. Bellevue (11-3), who has won four consecutive games, will face the Redmond Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 in Redmond.
