Daniel makes National team

Annika Daniel, who plays for FC Bellevue soccer club, was selected to the U-15 girls National team for Trinidad and Tobago. Daniel is currently competing in the CONCACAF U-15 tournament in Orlando.

Overlake to offer sports physicals

Overlake Urgent Care Medical Clinics will offer sports physicals at $40 per person in anticipation for the fall season.

The phyiscals will be occurring on a walk-in basis, six to seven days a week at clinics located in Downtown Bellevue, Issaquah, Redmond and a brand new location in the Lake Hills neighborhood of Bellevue. The physicals became available to the general public on Aug. 8.

Fall sports are right around the corner

The 2016 high school sports season has arrived. High school football teams conducted their first day of practice on Aug. 17. Volleyball, soccer, cross country, golf, girls swimming and boys tennis will kick off their first practices of the season on Aug. 22.
