Feb. 10

Boyfriend hurts, steals from girlfriend: At 10:14 p.m. in the 3500 block of Factoria Blvd. SE, a victim was driving with her boyfriend in the front passenger seat when an argument began. The boyfriend wanted to drive the car and assaulted the victim. The victim stopped the car and the suspect again assaulted the victim before running away with her purse. The suspect was not located, however, charges for domestic violence assault and theft were forwarded to the prosecutor.

Drunk urination: At 5:10 p.m. in the 12600 block of SE 41st Place, a “very intoxicated” suspect went into an employee-only area of a store and urinated on the floor. An employee confronted the subject who continued to expose himself to the employee. The suspect was told to leave and did not. Police arrested the suspect for indecent exposure and trespass.

Racial slur on bus: At 2:47 p.m. in the 10800 block of NE Sixth St., a victim was on a bus to Bellevue when a suspect started bothering him, waving his hands and speaking loudly. The suspect called the victim a racial slur. The victim felt threatened and punched the suspect in the face twice. The suspect left the scene before police arrived. The report was taken for documentation.

Drug possession: At 1:09 a.m. in the 500 block of 116th Ave. NE, officers contacted a suspect in the winter shelter parking lot. The officer located suspected meth and heroin. The suspect was arrested and later released pending charges.

Feb. 9

Pedestrian hit: At 6:54 a.m. in the 1200 block of 116th Ave. NE, an officer responded to a report of car versus pedestrian collision near Overlake Hospital on 116th Ave. NE. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

High-risk stop: At 7:40 a.m. in the 600 block of Bellevue Way NE, security reported an occupied stolen vehicle in a parking lot. Officers arrived and conducted a high-risk traffic stop and took the suspect into custody. The suspect had suspected stolen credit cards, mail and checks with different names. Police impounded the vehicle for a search warrant.

Feb. 7

Man caught cleaning meth pipe: At 2:55 p.m. in the 500 block of 110th Ave. NE, an officer was on bike patrol in Downtown Bellevue when he saw a suspect cleaning a meth pipe. He contacted the suspect and detained him. The suspect was charged with possession of a drug paraphernalia.

Assault over cigarette: At 12:05 p.m. in the 14000 block of Bel-Red Road, a suspect walked up to a victim and asked him for a cigarette. The victim said no and the suspect chased the victim and assaulted him. The suspect then left on a yellow bicycle.

Feb. 6

Arson: At 4:06 p.m. in the 10100 block of SE Sixth St., an unknown suspect lit a fire by a stairwell door. The fire created some blackening to the metal transition strip to the door. The fire went out on its own.

Feb. 5

Shoplifter spouts racial slurs: At 12:15 p.m. in the 14900 block of Main St., a suspect was caught shoplifting and started arguing with the manager. The victim recognized suspect as a male he constantly deals with a Crossroads Mall where he is a security officer. Suspect made threats and racial slurs towards victim and he was arrested.
