From Snowflake Lane to Garden D’Lights | Holiday happenings in Bellevue

Snowflake Lane: 7 p.m. through Dec. 24 at the Bellevue Collection on Northeast 8th Street. Don’t miss the magical evening performance for the entire family. It’s a holiday spectacle of live toy soldier drummers, exhilarating music, animated snow characters, glittering lights all surrounded by snow falling every night along Bellevue Way. Free for the public.

Garden d’Lights 2016: Runs through Dec. 31 at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, 12001 Main St. Starting at 4:30 p.m. every evening, Garden d’Lights features over half-million lights, which transform the Bellevue Botanical Garden into a blossoming winter wonderland. Visitors enjoy this dazzling display each season and this year we have new visitor services buildings with new amenities. The route has changed, grown and become more magical than ever.

Hilltop Holiday Craft Show: Runs through Dec. 3 at Northwest Art Center, 9825 NE 24th St. Come and enjoy a delightful, unique, whimsical, one-of-a-kind craft show featuring thousands of handcrafted items from over 65 selected Northwest crafters. Items include holiday ornaments, decorations, pottery, jewelry, wood and knit items and more.

Polar Express Storytime and Pajama Party: 7 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the Downtown Bellevue Barnes and Noble, 626 106th Ave. NE. Join the group for this special holiday storytime and pajama party — pajamas are encouraged. Lie back and listen to this endearing holiday favorite. The event will feature fun activities, songs and hot chocolate with yummy marshmallows.

Holiday Music with Pacific Sound Chorus: 5 p.m. on Dec. 5 at Bellevue Square’s Center Court. Regional a cappella champions, Pacific Sound Chorus, and member quartets will perform a selection of holiday favorites barbershop-style.

Christmas in Bellevue – Sammamish symphony Orchestra: 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 at the Meydenbauer Theatre, 11100 NE 6th St. The Sammamish Symphony Orchestra’s annual celebration of the holidays has become a tradition in Sammamish, and now in Bellevue, too! This year The Sammamish Symphony Orchestra will offer a blend of light classics, seasonal favorites, audience participation and a surprise or two. Don’t miss the Eastside’s most joyous and festive musical event of the season! Special guest for both performances is the Liberty High School’s Choir, Liberty Singers, under the direction of Robin Wood. This perennial favorite is always sold out so tickets should be purchased early!

Bellevue Chamber Chorus Presents ‘O Magnum Mysterium’: 3 p.m. Dec. 11 at First Congregational Church, 11061 NE 2nd St., Bellevue; 7:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 3030 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue; and 4 p.m. Dec. 18 at Maple Leaf Lutheran Church, 10005 32nd Ave NE, Seattle. Experience the wonder and mystery of Christmas and the holidays with Bellevue Chamber Chorus, under the direction of Fredrick Lokken, as they present a concert of glorious music for the season.
