Paul Wells had a pair of base hits and knocked in a run for Newport.

The Saints scored four runs in the seventh inning, as Ibrahim Mardini knocked in four runs in the lopsided win over Liberty.

Five Cougars knocked in multiple runs and Bothell led 9-0 after two innings in a 17-4 non-league win over Bellevue.

Five different Newport players scored a gaol and Gordon Kuenster had three assists as the Knights picked up the win.

Dimitri Popoff, Kaleb Karlek, Roy Cho, Avery Lawrenson and Maika Fuji found the net for Newport.

Omar Luqman scored the only Eastlake goal from Amr Atler.

Marcus Heijer scored the only Bellevue goal from Pete Johnson in the 2-1 loss.

Lake Washington 4 Interlake 1

Jason Rodriguez scored the only goal for the Saints in the loss.

Sammamish 4 Juanita 4

Laureno Villasenor, Mark So and Edgar Moreno-Flores scored goals as the Totems fought to a 4-4 draw with Juanita.

Moreno-Flores put his team up 3-2 in the second half before salvaging the tie with the game’s final goal later in the contest.

Aleana Groenhout earned medalist honors as the Saints won the KingCo match at their home course of Tam O’Shanter, shooting 40 to help her team beat Liberty.

Delaney Douglas and Nhi Nguyen both shot 48 in the win.
