The Interlake Saints boys basketball team captured the Class 3A academic state championship. The Saints, who were coached by Darren Bowden, had a combined team grade point average of 3.659.

The Interlake Saints girls gymnastics team earned the Class 3A academic state title. Interlake, who was coached by Shira Katsman, had a combined team grade point average of 3.780.

Saints swim team earns coveted honor for excellence  in the classroom

The Interlake Saints boys swim team collected the Class 3A academic state championship. The Saints, who were coached by Christina Hunsberger, had a combined team grade point average of 3.854.

GOLF

Bellevue women’s golf club is accepting applications

The Bellevue 18-hole women’s golf club is currently accepting 2016 member applications for women interested in playing competitive golf at the Bellevue Municipal Course. The club conducts weekly play each Tuesday from March through the final Tuesday of October.

Sammamish to  open 2016 season on the road

The Sammamish Totems will face the Juanita Rebels at 7 p.m. on March 14 at Lee Johnson Field in Kirkland.

Interlake to face Bellevue in city rivalry showdown

The Bellevue Wolverines will host the Interlake Saints at 4:30 p.m. on March 14 at Bellevue High School.

Newport to face O’Dea

The Newport Knights will face O’Dea at 7 p.m. on March 15 at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue.
