The Wolverines dominated from the opening tip and got the lopsided win over crosstown Interlake behind a game high 17 points from Gunther Klimes.
Brett Muramoto scored 11 to lead the Saints and Nate Wehner added nine more.

Robert Ambartsumyan paced the Totems with 13 points and Noah Pratt added 10 more in the win.
Noah Jackson and Vlad Yadevich combined for 17 more for Sammamish.

Chiara Victor scored 23 to lead Newport to the 4A KingCo Crown win, aided by eight points from Anna Crabtree.
Bellevue 66 Interlake 29
Shelby Cansler scored 21 for Bellevue in the win, with Mandy Steward chipping in 16 more.
Cate Mueller finished with a team high 15 for the Saints in the loss.

Boys swim and dive
Interlake won a pair of meets, beating Woodinville 115-63 behind state qualifying times from Jason Xu in the 200 free and as part of the team’s 200 medley relay.
The Saints followed that performance with a 126-38 win over rival Sammamish, winning all but two events in the process.
Conrad Karwal took home the 100 fly for the Totems, and Jacob Tower won the 50 free.
Interlake swept the relays and got individual wins from Tarik Onalan in the 200 free, Xu in the 500 free, Albert Furlong in the 100 back and Michael Lorr in the 100 breaststroke.

The Wolverines got pins from Nathan Smith (126), Jason Presley (132), Cole Bouwman (138), Chandler Ewing (152), John Mancuso (182) and Zachary England (220) to beat the Kangs in a KingCo dual meet.
Sammamish 24 Mercer Island 57
James Tate won by fall at 170 pounds and Jake Johnson picked up a pin in the first round at 220 for the Totems, which fell in the dual meet to Mercer Island.
Rathtana Duong lost a 10-4 decision to returning 3A state placer Luke Wilson at 126 pounds.
