Bellevue rolls over Mount Si, Newport falls to Skyline | Prep football news

Scores and highlights from Friday night's prep football games in Bellevue.

Bellevue rolls again

Bellevue faced its highest ranked Class 3A opponent of the season and handled it with the relative ease Wolverines’ fans have come to witness frequently, taking care of fourth-ranked Mount Si 52-13.

The Wolverines, still unbeaten, atop the state polls and included in several national rankings, meet Liberty next week before finishing the regular season against Mercer Island.

Newport downed by Spartans

Newport remained within reach of Skyline throughout, but was unable to overtake the Spartans in a 34-17 loss that eliminates them from the division title discussion.

The Knights face Garfield next week in the regular season finale.

Interlake outpaced by LW

The Saints scored their most points of the year, but fell 56-20 to 2A Lake Washington and remained winless on the year.

It will be a Crossroads Cup with both teams looking for their first win next week against Sammamish at Interlake.

Totems can’t overcome Juanita

The Rebels proved too much to handle for Sammamish on Homecoming night, as the Totems remained winless after a 52-14 loss.
