The two-time defending Washington Division I champs have been recognized as a top-50 team in the nation.

Bellevue, the two-time defending Washington state lacrosse champions, is ranked 49th in the first national high school lacrosse poll of the year from StudentSports.com.

The Wolverines are the only Washington squad ranked, with rival Mercer Island and Issaquah also receiving votes.

On the girls side, Interlake High School senior and Bellevue East lacrosse player Camille Sullivan was a preseason All-State selection by the Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association, and was the only Bellevue player on the squad.
