Bellevue's boys and girls basketball teams picked up wins to move on in their respective holiday tournaments.

Boys basketball

Chief Sealth 50 Newport 55

The Knights pushed into the championship game of the Slam bracket at Surf N Slam San Diego with a 55-50 win over Chief Sealth.

Isaac Dotson paced the Knights with 19 and Miles Fowler added 15 more for Newport in the win.

Mission Bay, which defeated Conestoga 71-41, awaits in the tournament final.

Bellevue Christian 37 Flagstaff (AZ) 25

The Vikings got 15 from Bryce Oldham to pick up a win in the Judy Dixon Holiday Tournament.

Ethan Mitchell added eight more and Rajan Hanstad had seven for BCS in the win.

Bellevue 59 Kent-Meridian 50

The Wolverines moved into the semi-finals of the Bothell Holiday Classic with a 59-50 win over Kent Meridian behind a game-high 17 points from Cole Walton.

Bellevue will meet the hosts from Bothell for a spot in the championship game.

Timmy Haehl finished with 16 and Dylan Foreman had nine more while Martel Taylor Barone paced K-M with 13.

Girls basketball

Bellevue 56 Ballard 53

The Wolverines led by six after the first quarter and held on down the stretch to escape with a 56-53 win over Ballard in the KingCo-Wesco Challenge.

Kate Holmes scored a team-high 14 and Shelby Fanning added nine more for Bellevue in the win.

Lynden Christian 54 Bellevue Christian 41

Alina Valle scored 12 points to lead the Vikings, but it wasn’t enough as Lynden Christian built a 13 point lead after the first half and never looked back.

Ashley Osborn scored nine for BCS in the loss.

Christian Faith 33 Forest Ridge 25

Forest Ridge managed only seven points in the first half and was unable to come back down the stretch in the Bush Holiday Tournament.
