Bellevue boys drop regular-season finale to Mercer Island

The Bellevue boys basketball team lost a tightly-contested game to Mercer Island, 52-48, on Feb. 7. The two rivals were tied at 48 with two minutes left, but the Islanders were able to pick up the win and cap off a perfect 12-0 league record. Bellevue junior Hudson Hansen had a game-high 20 points for the Wolverines, who had already locked up the No. 3 seed in the 3A KingCo league tournament.
