Scores, highlights and updates from prep sports in Bellevue

The Wolverines dropped their first 2A/3A KingCo game of the year last week in a 9-0 loss to Mercer Island, but still find themselves at the top of the conference with just more than two weeks to play in the regular season.

Bellevue faces Lake Washington Wednesday, and takes on Juanita Friday on the road.

Interlake has won two straight, beating Juanita 5-2 last week before taking care of last place Liberty 6-3 Monday.

The Saints face second place Mount Si Wednesday, and host Mercer Island Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Sammamish lost 3-0 to Bellevue Monday, and faces an uphill battle to catch Lake Washington for the conference’s only 2A district playoff berth.

The Totems meet Mercer Island Wednesday and face Mount Si Friday, trailing the Kangs by two games in the win column.

Newport saw its three game win streak snapped in a 10-3 loss to Bothell Monday, and play rival Issaquah Wednesday on the road looking to remain in the mix for a division title.

The top four teams in 4A KingCo Crown are separated by only one game in the win column.
