The Tower House, located near the corner of 97th Avenue Northeast and Northeast First Street in Bellevue, was built around 1914 by the Reverend A. B. Strong. A large water tank located at the top of the house supplied the neighbors with water.

A small apartment was one floor below, with the family quarters on the main floor.

In the 1920s the Bellevue Water Company began experimenting with piping water from the lake to Bellevue homes, and the Tower House tank fell out of use. During the 1930s the water tank was removed, reducing the house to two stories.
