Bellevue’s Somerset area will celebrate it’s 50th anniversary Saturday with festivities from 2-6 p.m. in the community.

Hosted by the Somerset Rec Club, the celebration will include food, beer tasting (for those 21 and up), and music through the decades. Attendees are invited to bring photos from the past 50 years to share – and take a stroll down memory lane. There will also be a donation jar ($50 for the past + $50 for the future!), a membership raffle and trivia contest.

Somerset began construction of the first of its 22 divisions incorporating more than 1,200 homes in the early 1960s, with the last division being completed in the late 1970s.
