Private security company Secure Pacific is celebrating its first assisted arrest in Bellevue of two alleged burglars who entered an office building’s parking garage and were monitored rifling through construction materials and equipment on Oct. 29.

One suspect was arrested at the scene in northeast Bellevue once a Secure Pacific operator received an alarm activation around midnight and dispatched law enforcement to the garage. The second suspect was later apprehended in the area after officers dispatched a police dog. Secure Pacific and its verified office security systems have led to 55 arrests this year, according to the company, with a majority of those occurring in Seattle construction sites.

Secure Pacific could not disclose the owner of the office building, but Crime Mapping reports one burglary case on the 3100 block of Northup Way occurred in that same timeframe.
