Seattle Police find items from Bellevue car prowls

Bellevue residents who have had items stolen in car prowls Dec. 11 may be in luck. Seattle Police have busted a crime ring and recovered about 500 stolen items.

The items have been cataloged and photographed and information about them is available at three Seattle Police Department precincts. Total value of the items is estimated at $1.4 million.

To claim property, people need to provide proof of ownership and have filed a police report.

North Precinct: 10049 College Way N.; 206-684-0850.

Police ask that people call ahead first to make sure discs containing the catalogued items are available.
