Medina Police offer the following crime prevention tips:

· Do not leave items of value in an unattended vehicle or in unsecured locations on your property. Prowlers may see this as an opportunity they can’t pass up.

· Consider environmental changes that could increase the security of your property, such as trimming overgrown vegetation or installing motion activated lights. If you notice any overgrown vegetation on the city right of way, please notify the Medina Public Works crew at 425-233-6438.

· Be sure to lock your vehicle and activate the alarm system whenever your vehicle is unattended.

· Be watchful of suspicious persons or activity in your neighborhood. Call 911 immediately, day or night, to report suspicious activity.
