Bob Spring, 81, died at his home in Bellevue on June 27, 2011.

Mr. Spring was born in Seattle on April 18, 1930, to Paul James Spring and Hazel Irene Wesley Spring.  He married Joanne in 1965 and they remained married until her death in 2002.

Shortly after high school, he joined the. After the Army, he attended the University of Washington where he graduated with a BA in Business in 1958

He  spent 20 years as a high school basketball referee.

He is survived by six children, Doug Spring, Paula Brenner, Greg Spring, Mike George, Debbie Barrow, and Robin Bonanno; and 10 grandchildren.

There will be no funeral. His interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent.

A “Celebration of Life” for Family and Friends will be held at a later date.
