Rep. Deb Eddy (D-Kirkland) has been honored by the Suburban Cities Association. Eddy, who represents the 48th Legislative District, which includes the northern part of Bellevue, has announced that she would not seek reelection in 2012.

Prior to her election to the House in 2006, Eddy had served on the Kirkland City Council for six years, including two years as Mayor, and was active in the association.
