Nearly $280,000 was raised at the annual fundraising event by the Bellevue College Foundation. The money will go to provide academic and need-based scholarships, as well as develop programs that support quality education and learning opportunities for all BC students.

More than 700 people attended the luncheon with the average gift increasing 50 percent over last year.
