Margaret Lind

Margaret Helen (Oakander) Lind, formerly of Bellevue, died Jan. 19, 2009, in Marysville. She was 90.

Mrs. Lind was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Jan. 13, 1919. She immigrated with her family to San Anselmo, Calif., and married a longtime family friend, Ellis Lind, in 1943. He preceded her in death 10 years ago.

The couple moved to Bellevue in June 1960 with their daughters, where they lived until 1999. Mrs. Lind worked for the city of Bellevue on a part-time basis.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanie Baurichter of Renton, Barbara Manson of Surrey, British Columbia, and Elizabeth Bertran of Everett; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial will be held in late spring or early summer.
