John Rinard Poague

John Rinard Poague of Bellevue died Monday, April 20, 2009 at Brighton Gardens of Bellevue. He was 81.

Mr. Poague was born August 14, 1927 in Lincoln, Missouri to John and Frances Poague. He married Georgia Charlene Cooper on June 23, 1950 in Silverdale. The couple settled in Bellevue in 1958.

His career as an auto mechanic spanned 40 years. In his leisure time John enjoyed fishing, camping, car shows and having a cold beer with a friend.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene of Bellevue; children, John W. Poague of Renton and Sharon Marie Fisk of Portland, Ore.; 11 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of extended family members.

The family suggests remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Association, 12721 30th Avenue NE, Suite 101, Seattle, WA 98125.

A graveside service will be held 10 at a.m, Monday, April 27 at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 S.E. 240th St. in Kent. A memorial will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Renton, 1700 Edmonds Ave NE, Renton, WA 98056.
