Nanbo Lai, son of XiuYun Jiang of Bellevue, received a $2,000 Multicultural Achievement Program (MAP) Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year at Western Washington University. Lai graduated from Newport High School and is interested in majoring in computer science.
