Matthew Eschbach, son of Joe and Deanne Eschbach of Bellevue, received a $2,000 Multicultural Achievement Program (MAP) Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year at Western Washington University. Eschbach graduated from Newport High School and hopes to become a teacher.
