Muni League seeks nominations for centennial Civic Awards

The Municipal League of King County is calling for nominations for its annual Civic Awards to honor those who are working to improve the community. This year’s awards will be presented as Centennial Civic Awards at the organization’s Centennial Celebration Dinner on March 18, 2010. Unlike the annual Civic Awards that recognize civic achievement over the previous year, the Centennial Civic Awards celebrate individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the community over many years.

Nomination forms are available on the League’s website at www.munileague.org or by contacting the office at 206- 622-8333. The deadline for nominations is January 8, 2010. Winners will be announced in early February. Tickets for the centennial Civic Awards dinner will go on sale December 15.
