Man dies in Bellevue after being found on fire

A man found on fire in Bellevue on Saturday has died, Bellevue Police report. He died at 9:08 p.m. after being rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with severe burns over the majority of his body.

A man found on fire in Bellevue on Saturday has died, Bellevue Police report. He died at 9:08 p.m. after being rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with severe burns over the majority of his body.

Witnesses called 911 at 5 p.m. to report a possible electrical fire and that a man was on fire.

Bellevue Fire Department responded to the 14200 block of S.E. 36th Street quickly and put out the fire.

Bystanders tried to assist the male in dousing the fire until the fire department arrived. It is unknown at this time why or how this fire started.

The Bellevue Police investigators were called to the scene. The male has been identified and his family members are being notified.
