Bellevue Police apprehended two horses that made a mad dash for freedom Monday afternoon.

The two horses escaped their enclosure and ran loose on the 2400 block of 134th Ave. NE on March 28. They were located and corraled by an officer with Equine experience, according to police.

Their breeds were not made public at press time, but given their unsuccessful jailbreak, it is unlikely either is a racehorse.
