Forum set Oct. 1 for Bellevue council candidates

From public safety and budget priorities, to future growth and transportation, the six Bellevue City Council candidates will share views on a variety of key issues at a public forum Oct. 1.

The forum, from 7-9 p.m. at the Westin Bellevue, is hosted by the Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) and presented in partnership by the Bellevue Reporter.

William Shaw, regional publisher for Sound Publishing will serve as moderator.

Candidates seeking election are:

Position 2: Conrad Lee and Lyndon Heywood

Position 4: Steven Kasner and Kevin Wallace

Position 6: Lynne Robinson and Vandana Slatter

Forum seating will be first-come, first-served, and doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The BDA is a non-profit membership organization charged with leading the evolution of Downtown Bellevue as the economic and cultural heart of the Eastside. The BDA does not endorse candidates or contribute to campaigns.
