Food Lifeline to provide meals for needy kids in Bellevue

Food Lifeline’s Kids Cafe program will expand by providing free snacks and meals to local children in Bellevue.

 

Food Lifeline’s Kids Cafe program will expand by providing free snacks and meals to local children in Bellevue. Meals and snacks will be made available at no charge to children 18 years of age and younger attending the programs listed below.

Every Monday through Friday from June 24 through August 22 (closed July 4), free meals, snacks and activities will be provided during summer break at the following King County locations in Bellevue:

Eastside Terrace at 704 147th Place N.E., breakfast: 8:15-8:45 a.m., lunch: noon to 12:30 p.m.

Spiritwood Manor 1424 148th Ave. S.E., breakfast: 8:15-8:45 a.m., lunch: noon to12:30 p.m.

Hidden Village at 14508 S.E. 24th St., lunch: noon to 12:30 p.m.; snack: 3:30-4 p.m.

The Club Teen Center at 15228 Lake Hills Blvd., snack: 12:30-1 p.m.; supper: 3:15-3:45 p.m.

Kids Cafe seeks to fill a gap in service to children from high-need communities by giving them consistent access to nutritious food.
