Sonia Doughty of Bellevue has been named development director of the Western & Central Washington State Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. She is responsible for helping raise the funds in support of the association’s mission, which includes care and support services, research for a cure, and education.

Doughty started working in nonprofits in 2002 and worked as a fundraising and development employee. She also serves on the Bellevue YMCA board.
