A bomb threat that shut down Crossroads Mall Sunday was likely a hoax, according to the police.

Around 5:45 p.m. on June 12, a woman called a bomb threat into the Old Navy store at Crossroads Mall in Bellevue. The Bellevue Police evacuated the store, but mall security chose to evacuate the whole shopping complex.

The store was checked for any explosives, but law enforcement did not find anything that drew concern, they told the Reporter. The call appears to have been a hoax, they added.

The store was re-opened within the hour.
