Bellevue synchronized swimmers to compete for national title

Four Bellevue girls are among 14 members of the Seattle Synchronized Swimming Team who are set to compete for a national title at the 2014 Age Group National Championships June 28 to July 5 in Federal Way.

Four Bellevue girls are among 14 members of the Seattle Synchronized Swimming Team who are set to compete for a national title at the 2014 Age Group National Championships June 28 to July 5 in Federal Way.

The team qualified for the national championships by placing among the top three finishers at the 2014 Northwest Regional Championships. The meet features competitions in the 11-12, 13-15, 16-17, and 18-19 age group categories.

Bellevue swimmers Jamie Chin (11) of Phantom Lake Elementary, Ivy Huang (11) of Odle Middle School and Alicia Wu (10) of Cherry Crest Elementary will compete in the 11-12 age group category.

Lilly Cao (14) of Odle Middle School will compete in the 16-17 age category.
