Bellevue Police arrest Seattle man for exposure

Bellevue Police have arrested a 36-year-old Seattle man suspected of exposing himself in two different locations in South Bellevue on Thursday. Detectives are investigating the possibility of links between this case and previous exposing incidents near Robinswood Park.

At around 8 a.m. Thursday a woman called 911 to report a man exposing himself to her on a greenbelt trail in the Lake Hills neighborhood. The suspect ran, but a man saw him exposing himself at the Eastgate Park and Ride about 30 minutes later and also called police.

Officers converged on the area and caught him a short distance away near the Bellevue Community College campus.

Both callers were able to identify the suspect and he was booked into jail.

Bellevue Police encourage anyone who witnesses an exposing incident to follow the example of these witnesses: call 911 immediately, and provide the best possible description of the suspect. Immediate notification provides the best possible chance of an arrest.
