Late on Wednesday night, Bellevue police arrested one of “Washington’s Most Wanted” after following a reportedly stolen vehicle to Renton.

Thomas E. Lee, 24, was booked into jail on outstanding warrants and several pending charges from the night of the arrest.

Lee had been featured on Washington’s Most Wanted for “Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act and Assault 3rd Degree” after allegedly robbing the Seattle Nordstrom store on March 18, 2016.

The suspect was first noticed by officers on Sept. 21 when, while on surveillance on a narcotics investigation in the Lake Hills neighborhood of Bellevue, detectives from the Special Operations Group noticed a vehicle with a lone driver.

The detectives ran the car’s plates and discovered it had been reported stolen from the city of Kent.

The driver parked, exited the vehicle and when he returned the detectives followed the vehicle. The driver parked the car in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot at 10712 SE Carr Road in Renton. He exited the vehicle and detectives contacted him and took him into custody.

Pending charges from Wednesday’s arrest include “Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act.”

Officer Tory Mangione, acting information officer for the Bellevue Police Department, said Renton police were not involved.
