Bel Square to ‘Go Red’ on Feb. 6

Bellevue Square will “Go Red in Style” on Feb. 6 as part of National Wear Red Day.

The event is designed to draw attention about heart disease, the leading killer of American women.

As part of the day’s activities, celebrity chef and mixologist Kathy Casey of Kathy Casey Food Studios and Dish D’Lish will team up with entertainment and lifestyle expert Kelley Moore of Seattle Magazine for ideas on showcasing commitment to “go red” while entertaining. Plus, 50 ladies in the audience will receive swag bags.

The 6-8 p.m. event at Center Court is free and no reservations are required. Casey and Moore will take the stage at 6:30 p.m.

According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular diseases, including stroke, kill nearly half a million female lives every year – that’s more lives than are claimed by the next five causes of death combined.
