Stop helping the illegals

I don’t understand why is it so hard for Olympia to require legal citizenship for getting a driver’s license in our state. Do we need to be a magnet to draw illegals to our state so that they have a valid ID for flying and a host of other services even though they do not have a Social Security number?

We have 900 illegals taking up jail space due to criminal offenses. The legislature and governor increased services to illegals over the past few years. Who pays for all of those services?

The government has no money except ours, the taxpayers’. Our state has a budget crisis, and yet we do nothing to stop the drain on our budget by those who broke the law to enter our country. Instead, we reward their illegal behavior with free services and a valid ID.

It is time for Olympia to start taking some basic steps to reduce the drain on the budget. That should be a no brainer, or is that asking too much of the legislators and governor?
