Political signs a visual blight

The visual blight of all the roadside campaign signs continues for far too long around here. We have the signs going up in July for an August primary, and then staying up all the way through to a November general election. That’s nearly five months.

It would not be unreasonable to allow the signs to be put up 30 days prior to an election, and then be removed two days following the election. Definitely they shouldn’t be permitted to stay up continuously from the Primary election all the way through to the General election.
