Interfaith gathering was a blessed experience | Letter

The Eastshore Unitarian and Muslim Association of Puget Sound members organized and coordinated our Interfaith Friendship dinner/conversation on a beautiful Spring evening March 25. It was a most blessed experience to see all our friends and neighbors who attended and the hall was packed to capacity.

The speakers from Muslim Association of Puget Sound, Pacifica Institute, IMAN Center, Ahmediyya community and the visitors from Sudan shared their reflections on the theme of hope and perseverance, which was most uplifting and connected our hearts to share our blessings.

The highlight was the endearing stories of friendship and interests shared by two lovely ladies who met at Eastshore.

I encourage our readers and neighbors to reach out and have similar gatherings to join hands for service project opportunities in friendship and support. Peace and blessings!
