Cris Nelson has been named the new managing broker of Windermere’s Bellevue South office. Nelson has been a licensed real estate broker since 1987 and originally joined Windermere in 1994 where she served as a broker and assistant manager for 15 years. In 2009, Nelson left Windermere to become managing broker of John L. Scott’s Bellevue Main office.

“We are so excited to welcome Cris back to the Windermere family,” said Matt Deasy, co-owner of Windermere Real Estate East, Inc., adding, “Cris is a great fit for us because, among other reasons, she embodies Windermere’s core values of professionalism, relationships, collaboration, and community.” Windermere Real Estate East, Inc. is owned and operated by second-generation owners Matt Deasy, Joe Deasy, and Deanne Deasy Wilson, and includes six offices in Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, and Redmond.

Nelson said that she made the decision to return to Windermere because of the company’s culture and sense of family,

“Windermere has always felt like home to me,” she said.

Nelson added that she is looking forward to reconnecting with the brokers in the Bellevue South office and growing her team. The Windermere Bellevue South office currently has 56 brokers and is located at 14405 S.E. 36th Street, Suite 100.
