Conference to discuss innovation

The cutting edge innovations, technologies, resources and people that are advancing the economic vitality of the region will be on the agenda at the Eastside Leadership Conference on Friday at the Microsoft Conference Center.

 

The cutting edge innovations, technologies, resources and people that are advancing the economic vitality of the region will be on the agenda at the Eastside Leadership Conference on Friday at the Microsoft Conference Center.

Pre-registration is required for the 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. event and can be made at bellevuechamber.org or by calling 425-213-1205. Cost for the conference is $85 per person.

The agenda will include keynote speaker Doug King from the Museum of Flight and a panel discussion of the Space Elevator, pantry resources and space flight. Also on the agenda are topics including innovation on the Eastside, solving global health problems, the Allen Institute for Brain Science, biotech startup Cardeas Pharma, pediatric cancer research and the future of transportation.

In addition, Sheryl Connelly of Ford Motor Company, will discuss consumer trends of 2013.
