Wolverines remain undefeated

The Bellevue Wolverines nabbed a 2-0 win against the Liberty Patriots on Sept. 28. Bellevue (6-0-2) will face the Redmond Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 in Redmond.

Cascade Christian earns victory against Vikings

The Cascade Christian Cougars registered a 2-0 win against Bellevue Christian on Sept. 28. Bellevue Christian (2-3-1) will host the Charles Wright Academy on Oct. 12 at Marymoor Park.

Issaquah dominates Newport

The Issaquah Eagles registered a 8-0 win against the Newport Knights on Sept. 29. Newport (1-7-1) will host the Eastlake Wolves at 8 p.m. on Oct. 11 in Factoria.

BASEBALL

FirstSwing Foundation is hosting camps

The FirstSwing Foundation is hosting its 13th annual Thanksgiving hitting, pitching and catching camp at Kellogg Middle School on Nov. 19 and Nov. 20. The camps will focus on the basics of hitting, defense, pitching and throwing and will include six to 12 hours of professional instruction. The camp is for players between 6 and 16 years of age. VOLLEYBALL

Saints defeat Totems in rivalry matchup

The Interlake Saints swept the Sammamish Totems, earning a 3-0 (25-17, 27-25, 25-18) victory on Sept. 28 in Bellevue. Marie McHenry had 21 assists and five aces in the win. Nicole Kramer had 11 kills, Hitomi Higuchi had seven digs and Audrey Malcolm added six kills for Interlake in the win.

Wolverines defeat Mustangs

The Bellevue Wolverines captured a 3-1 victory against the Redmond Mustangs on Sept. 28. Bellevue (6-2) will face the Liberty Patriots at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10 in Renton.

Skyline defeats rival Newport

In a battle between Class 4A KingCo volleyball squads, the Skyline Spartans earned a 3-1 win against the Newport Knights on Sept. 28. Newport (5-3) will face the Bothell Cougars at 7 p.m. on Oct. 12 in Bothell.

Bellevue Christian sweeps Vashon Island

The Bellevue Christian Vikings defeated Vashon Island 3-0 on Sept. 29. Bellevue Christian (4-3) will host the Cascade Christian Cougars at 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 11 in Bellevue.
