The Bellevue Wolverines defeated the Newport Knights 6-3 in the Washington state water polo third place/fourth place contest on May 27 at the Curtis Aquatic Center in University Place. The Wolverines went 3-1 at the tournament picking up victories against the Wilson Rams, Puyallup Vikings and Newport en route to a third place finish. Bellevue suffered their lone defeat to the Curtis Vikings. The Wolverines roster this season consisted of Morgan Baker, Sophia Simons, Sophia Schmid, Sarah Kim, Sarah Harrison, Natasha Schmid, Holly Harris, Madison Klein, Katie Duff, Erica Esselstrom, Jenna Frazer, Elena Acevedo and Tatiana Pasewark. The team manager was Lily Ugelstad.
