Bellevue's Brett Mennella has been named to the 2010 U.S. Lacrosse High School All-America team. Mennella, a senior attacker, leads Bellevue with 43 goals and 16 assists. His 43 goals are fourth in the state.

Bellevue’s Brett Mennella has been named to the 2010 U.S. Lacrosse High School All-America team.

Mennella, a senior attacker, leads Bellevue with 43 goals and 16 assists. His 43 goals are fourth in the state.

Mennella has helped lead the Wolverines to a record of 17-3 and a quarterfinals matchup with Northshore tomorrow at Bellevue High at 7 p.m.

Mennella is just one of five from Washington State named to the All-America team. Two earned honorable mention honors.

Athletes named to the squad must be a first-team all-league, conference or state selection, must be in good standing at his or her school and must exhibit sportsmanship on and off the field.
