The Bellevue City Council is seeking candidates for a vacancy on the Planning Commission. Whoever is appointed will serve the three years remaining on the term of a member stepping down this spring.
At the conclusion of the term – May 31, 2011 – the new member will be eligible for reappointment for an additional four years.
The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the City Council and is responsible for the reviewing and updating the Comprehensive Plan, making recommendations concerning this plan to the City Council. The Planning Commission meets on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
