Man threatens to kill people of certain religion | Bellevue Police Blotter Jan. 4-10

Scary surprise: The victim had obtained a temporary protection order against the suspect, then found a GPS tracking device on her car. The suspect admitted that he had placed the device on her vehicle and had been tracking her movements for 10-15 days so that he would be able to “surprise” her.

Jan. 6

Cranky charity case: The suspect walked into a parking lot in the 14700 block of Main St. and began asking people for money. When they refused, he made specific threats to assassinate them and other threats to kill or injured them because of their perceived religion. The suspect was arrested for harassment and booked into jail.

Counterfeit criminals: Bellevue Square security called police to report two subjects in a parking garage who were handling large amounts of cash in the trunk of a parked car. Police found several sheets of uncut counterfeit bills. The suspects were arrested.

Pellet gun-toting teen: A school resource officer is investigating reports of a student who pointed a pellet gun at another student in the school parking lot.

Jan. 7

Sloshed on the sidewalk: The suspect was driving her vehicle westbound on a sidewalk in the 10800 block NE 6th St. She struck a metal barricade, a pole and a tree. She was arrested for a DUI.

Jan. 9

Thief thwarted: A resident called police to report that a man in a truck was possibly stealing mail from the mailboxes in the 100 block of 109th Ave. SE. The suspect was found to have an active warrant out for his arrest and he was apprehended.
