Bellevue to offer outdoor movies in the park this summer

Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, a bag of popcorn and some soda and head to the park to enjoy free outdoor movies this summer. Films will be shown under the stars on a 25-foot screen.

An eight-week series begins Tuesday, July 7 in Downtown Park before moving to Eastgate Park ball

field on August 11. Movies are family-friendly and carry a PG rating.

While taking in a free flick people also can support a cause. Each movie night is themed with a different charity benefit. People can bring donated items to support the organization of the night.
