Bollywood concert at Bellevue High to aid Child Rights and You of Seattle

Seattle band the AllGoRhythms will headline the performance, called “Kal Aaj aur Kal!: 100 years of Bollywood Music.”

Child Rights and You will host a Bollywood music concert fundraiser June 28 at Bellevue High School.

Seattle band the AllGoRhythms will headline the performance, called “Kal Aaj aur Kal!: 100 years of Bollywood Music.

The AllGoRhythms are a “Bollywood orchestra,” founded in 1999, featuring more than a dozen members.

The group performs music from Bollywood cinema — the Hindi-language segment of the Indian film industry — known for its melodramatic style and large musical numbers.

The AllGoRhythms frequently perform to raise funds for CRY, Asha, AID and other nonprofits.

The performance will feature dances by the Lasya troupe of Seattle.

CRY Seattle will donate all profits raised to children’s rights initiatives in India and the United States. The show starts 5 p.m., and tickets may be purchased at CRY’s webpage for the event.
