Nieuwenhuis committed to Bellevue | Letter

I am writing in support of Jared Nieuwenhuis in his race for Bellevue City Council, Position 4. I have known Jared both personally and professionally for more than 20 years, and have been continually impressed not only by his business savvy, commitment to family and friends, but also by the breadth and depth of his involvement with civic life in Bellevue. Jared has been active in two Bellevue-based nonprofits, The Sophia Way and LifeWire (a domestic violence prevention agency), where he has been and continues to be a passionate and involved board member.

Additionally, as chair of the Public Affairs Committee at the Bellevue Chamber and a high-tech business leader, he demonstrates that he understands how to make a city and business community successful. He is the strong and compassionate leader that Bellevue needs, and will be a voice for all the people of Bellevue. This type of total commitment to a city suggests that Jared Nieuwenhuis will make an exceptional member of the Bellevue City Council.
